The Hollywood Music Store in the LaVilla neighborhood of Downtown. This part of Ashley Street was the core of black life in Jacksonville before Integration, and The Hollywood Music Store was one of Ashley Street's most popular businesses. The store sold records and brought to Jacksonville many famous musicians and entertainers of the times, like Nat king Cole and Earl “Fatha” Hines. Today, this site remains and is occupied by the Clara White Mission.
